BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Roy A. Gross
Roy A. Gross has worked as a producer, production manager, stage manager, and writer in the DC metro area for 10 years.  A proud member of Actors' Equity Association, he serves as a member of the DC/Baltimore Actors' Equity Association Liaison Committee and the regional campaign coordinator for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.  Roy had the privilege of stage managing Tribute Productions' Beyond Glory, bringing the piece to the US Military around the world as part of Operation Homecoming, a program jointly sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Department of Defense.  Roy is the recipient of a US Army Southern European Task Force Scroll of Appreciation, US Army 282nd Base Support Battalion Scroll of Appreciation, and a League of Washington Theatres Offstage Honor Award.

Colin Hovde
Colin Hovde's directing work has been seen at Rorschach Theatre, Washington Savoyards, Washington Shakespeare Company, Solas Nua, eXtreme eXchange, Theater Alliance, Perseverance Theatre, The InSeries, and The Capitol Fringe Festival, and The Source Festival.  His Photography work has been seen in The Washington Post, Express, Washington Times, Washington Blade, Washington Women, Metro Weekly, and American Theater.  He is a founding member of The Capitol Fringe Festival, was Associate Artistic Director at Theater Alliance, and a producer of Worldwide Arts Collective Festival in 2004.  He studied Acting and Directing in Regio Emillia Italy and at the University of the North Carolina School of the Arts.

Cary Mitchell
Cary Mitchell is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a masters degree in journalism and law degree from Syracuse University. He is currently a partner in a boutique telecommunications law firm where he represents wireless telecom entrepreneurs and rural telephone companies in matters before the Federal Communications Commission. Prior to starting his law practice, Cary was a writer/editor who worked with Fox Television, Time-Life Books, and a variety of live entertainment production companies. He recently served on the Board of Directors and as General Counsel for Theater Alliance of Washington, DC. Cary is an active cyclist and tennis player and lives in Georgetown with his wife, actor Samantha Merrick.
