Welcome to the ARTISTS’ BLOC! We are artists united to support and challenge our creative process, encouraging cross disciplinary collaboration and an open exchange of ideas in the creation and development of new cultural works. “How do you intend to do that?” We’ll tell you! We’ve launched 12 x 6, where artists get 12 minutes to display their developing work to their peers and, if selected, to the public. For playwrights there’s MODERN SCRIBES, where our playwright corps comes together to bounce ideas off each other and to discuss the issues they face as professionals. To those of you who’ve been looking for more site specific work we have THE UNDERGROUND. And if you’ve been craving some guerilla art work then DRIVE BY is for you! But if all you want to do is get together with your fellow artists and chat over a pint then join us at our monthly event, THE LOUNGE. Come on in and see the rest of what we have to offer.
