The Artists’ Bloc is committed to using our art forms to affect positive change in our community.

By presenting art to raise awareness and funds to combat society’s ills,

we strive to make our community a better place.

BROADWAY CARES / EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS

The  Artists' Bloc is teaming up with the DC/Baltimore Actor’s Equity Association Liaison Committee to raising funds for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.  For the nation’s capital to have the highest HIV/AIDS infection rate in the country is simply inexcusable.  The District government has made an unprecedented effort to have every citizen tested, free of charge, but that’s just the start.  BC/EFA supports public and private efforts in the District of Columbia and nationwide not only to halt the spread of the disease, but also to provide essential resources to those who are infected.

Now it’s time to do our part.  The Liaison Committee and the Artists’ Bloc need each and every one of you to take a moment at the end of your shows and exhibits to request donations for BC/EFA.

If you’re not working on a show ask your friends, family, and co-workers.  It really is a moment of your time that can make a significant impact on our community.

Please contact the Artists' Bloc Managing Director and BC/EFA Campaign Coordinator
ROY A. GROSS to become a part of the solution.  Together we can make a real difference.
