Buttler enrolled himself in the Tomball High School, where he was also a part of the basketball team. Then, during his senior year, he met Jordan Leslie, who happened to be the closest friend he ever had.

Leslie, as a freshman, had enrolled himself in both football and basketball. He challenged Butler to a three-point shooting contest. Afterward, they became very close to each other.

After awareness of Butler’s situation, Jordan Leslie’s family immediately offered him a home to stay.

Jordan Leslie went to Tomball High School in Tomball, Texas. In there, he was a three-year varsity letter-winner for Tommy Kaiser, who was his coach. Leslie played for the BYU Cougars football team during his college time.

In his sophomore year, he shifted from quarterback to wide receiver. He earned All-Region Newcomer of the year by tallying 54 receptions for 770 yards and five touchdowns.

Leslie competed against Tulsa when he pulled in 10 catches for 218 yards. He set out a record during this, managing to become the sixth UTEP player ever to gain more than 200 receiving yards.

During his time as a Miner, he won the football team’s Dr. Diana Natalicio Academic Award. He also accumulated numerous mentions to the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll and C-USA All-Academic Honors.

Furthermore, Leslie achieved 2,015 yards, 125 receptions, and 15 touchdowns in his three seasons of El Paso.

During his junior season, he made 54 catches for 1,015 yards along with 10 TDs. In addition, he also completed five punt returns for 49 yards and seven kick-off returns for 186 yards.

As a senior, he assembled 55 catches for 742 yards along with nine touchdowns. Additionally, he also had eight punt returns for 113 yards and seven kick-off returns for 132 yards.

Not to mention, Leslie was also a three-time Academic All-District pick. He also made it to the Academic All-State team.

After a year with a new run-heavy head coach, Leslie knew it was time to step ahead further. So he started searching around for other places.

Jordan Leslie played for Minnesota Vikings. They signed him on May 2, 2015, as an undrafted free agent. However, they waived him from the group on August 31, 2015.

Likewise, on October 21, 2015, Leslie signed to the practice squad Jacksonville Jaguars. He also signed with the Atlanta Falcons practice squad on December 15, 2015. The Falcons cut him on August 27, 2016.

Leslie signed with the Tennessee Titans practice squad on September 7, 2016. However, he got released from the team on October 3.

Recently, Leslie is a football trainer in Arizona.

Leslie signed to the Browns practice squad on October 18, 2016. Later he signed a future contract with the Browns in January 2017. However, the group renounced him on September 2, 2017.
