Ross Dwelley attended the Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills, California, where he played baseball and football. During his freshman year, Dwelley was already down with football, ready to leave it.

Apparently, he wanted to give his full focus to baseball and leave football for good. However, his coach at that time, Eric Cavaliere, convinced him to continue football for his senior years.

Later, Dwelley, who used to be the quarterback in the junior years, debuted as the senior year’s tight end. As for his high school record, he posted 43 catches for 568 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
