Surekha Vani (born 30 June 1977) is an Indian actress and comedian of Indian origin.
Early Life and Career
Surekha Vani was born on 30th June 1977 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. She is known for her comedy acting and anchoring skills. She performed in the Telugu as well as in the Tamil films for over 20 years.

When Surekha was in the 8th grade, she anchored children’s programs on local cable TV in Vijayawada. After Intermediate, she took up anchoring as a profession.
Surekha Vani hosted shows such as Maa Talkies and Heart Beat with her husband on MAA TV. She appeared in Moguds Pellams, also directed by her husband.

Surekha Vani was married to Suresh Teja, director by profession. Unfortunately, he died on 6 May, 2019. Suresh Teja died in a hospital in Hyderabad due to prolonged illness. Surekha Vani had reduced her workload last year but never spoke about her husband’s illness.
